A complete payment infrastructure, from the QR code the buyer scans to the payout landing in the merchant's account.

   The challenge

   Receiving Pix, Brazil's instant payment, is the easy part. The hard part comes after: knowing who owns every cent, holding enough to refund when a buyer files a dispute, and releasing payouts without discovering the gap days later.

   What I built

   A Fastify API with a double-entry ledger: every movement is a posting, and the balance is always the sum, never a field someone updates by hand. On top of that, a merchant dashboard, an admin panel, identity verification, signed webhooks, payouts and payment links.

3. 03

   The part nobody sees

   Automatic reserve: a slice of every incoming payment is held for a period before it's released. It's the cushion that pays for disputes without touching the cash. There's also a per-transaction cap, risk alerts and reconciliation with the acquirer.
